I’m u pset by the lack of a thorough detailing. This car looks 10x better with a full day of waxing and polishing. The front bumper becomes perfectly color matched with an extra coat of wax, and the wheels look gorgeous when all that brake dust is removed. That would likely go a long way towards getting a quick sale at that price, along with better pictures.

I see a tarp in the pictures, and I can’t help but wonder why it’s been covered lately with the lack of rain. Maaaaaaaybe to protect from the ash?

If it was listed at half the price I probably still wouldn’t want it, which I guess means that the Miata chapter of my life is well and truly closed.

Miatas are really overpriced these days, it should be worth like 3-4k imo with all the mods. .....H aving seen it beached on a rock might be coloring that opinion though

On the one hand I don’t disagree, but on the other... If it’s priced at what people will pay, by definition it’s not overpriced, right?

But yeah, this car—while well-loved—has definitely taken some abuse lol.

Tough call on the price. Ton of chassis miles and rebuilt title. Newer engine and quality parts. Better be happy beating on the thing if you spend that money

Sheesh, if 200k+ mile Miatas with swapped motors really go for that kind of money, I need to get some good paint on my $900 one. I’m still under 2k into it. Kind of fun to drive.

Ive seen way worse ads, Im surprised how reasonable most of this seems, especially knowing the actual history lol. Its certainly more money than anyone should pay but I think somewhere around $5k is a pretty damn good deal. Maybe worth the extra just for the xidas and bride though...
